Cinnamon Rolls

  1. In large bowl, put water and sprinkle with yeast.
  2. Add 1 teaspoon sugar.
  3. Stir until dissolved and let stand 5 minutes.
  4. By electric mixer, beat in cake mix, egg, oil, salt and 1 cup flour. Stir in rest of flour by hand.
  5. It will be sticky.
  6. Cover and let rise until double.
  7. Stir down and let rise again.
  8. Stir down and divide in half.
  9. Roll out on a lightly floured surface until about 12 x 18-inches.
  10. Brush with 1/2 of the butter and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon mixture.
  11. Roll up and slice.
  12. Place cut side down on a greased cookie sheet.
  13. Repeat with second half.
  14. Cover and let rise until double.
  15. Bake in a 350u0b0 oven until light brown (20 minutes).
