Maple Bacon Burger with Swiss, Mushrooms & Caramelized Onions
- 24 each ground beef patties (4 oz./115 g each) Safeway 1 lb For $3.99 thru 02/09
- 24 slices Kraft Extra Swiss Cheese Slices
- 24 pieces leaf lettuce leaves
- 24 slices large tomatoes, cut into 1/2-inch-thick slices King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 24 each hamburger buns, toasted
- 48 slices maple-flavoured bacon, cooked
- 3 cups fresh mushrooms, sliced, sauteed
- 1-1/2 cups onions, sliced, caramelized
- 1-1/2 cups Bull's-Eye Bold Original Barbecue Sauce
- For each serving: Grill 1 beef patty on medium-high heat 4 to 5 min.
- on each side or until done (165 degrees F/74 degrees C); top with 1 cheese slice.
- Place 1 each lettuce leaf and tomato slice on bottom half of bun; top with cheeseburger, 2 bacon slices and 3/4 oz.
- (20 g) each mushrooms and onions.
- Drizzle with 1 Tbsp.
- (15 mL) barbecue sauce; cover with top of bun.
