Beef With Green Peppers
- 3 lbs boneless chuck roast, 1 1/2 inch cubes
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 cup onion, sliced
- 5 cups water
- 1 tablespoon garlic and red chile paste
- 1 teaspoon ginger powder
- 13 cup oyster sauce
- 4 cups green peppers, slice into large wedges
- In a large heavy pot add in the beef, salt and pepper and saute over a high heat.
- After 5 minutes add the oil and stirring the beef and when the beef is golden brown add garlic, onion, water, chili paste, and ginger and oyster sauce and bring to a boil and after 5 minutes on high heat reduce to a simmer.
- When the meat is about tender add green pepper wedge and simmer for 60 minutes.
- Check the broth for seasoning.
