Delicious Bran Muffins

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Lightly grease muffin pan or line muffin pan with muffin papers.
  3. Cover raisins with warm water for 5 to 10 minutes.
  4. Blend wheat bran with boiling water; let stand for 5 minutes.
  5. In order, blend egg, honey, milk and bran mixture thoroughly with wire whisk.
  6. Blend remaining dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
  7. Blend raisins, then dry ingredients into liquid ingredients until mixed.
  8. Do not overmix!
  9. Fill muffin cups almost full.
  10. Fill any empty cups halfway with water.
  11. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
  12. Cool 5 to 10 minutes before removing from pan.
  13. Makes 10 to 12 large muffins.
