Anytime Pecan Crunch
- 4 cups whole wheat cereal squares
- 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup non-hydrogenated margarine
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- Preheat oven to 250 degrees F. Lightly grease 15x10x3/4-inch baking pan.
- Combine cereal, pecans, cranberries and cinnamon in large bowl; set aside.
- Place sugar, margarine and corn syrup in medium saucepan.
- Bring to boil on medium-high heat, stirring constantly.
- Boil 2 min., without stirring.
- Add baking soda; mix well.
- Drizzle over cereal mixture; toss to coat.
- Spread into prepared pan.
- Bake 30 to 35 min.
- or until crisp and lightly toasted, stirring occasionally.
- Cool completely.
