Easy Cherry Cake
- 2 cups cake flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 21 ounces cherry pie filling or apricot pie filling
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs lightly beaten
- 1 x powdered sugar optional
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Combine all ingredients except powdered sugar.
- Stir well.
- Pour batter into ungreased 13 x 9 inch pan.
- Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until a pick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Remove from oven and let cool completely in pan.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
