Grandma's Wedding Punch Recipe
- 10 lbs. sugar
- 4 gals. water
- 8 tbsp. tea (or possibly 8 tea bags)
- 2 1/2 quarts. pineapple juice
- 2 quarts. lemon juice
- 2 quarts. orange juice
- 8 quarts. ginger ale
- Heat sugar and 4 qts water to boiling, simmer 5 min; cold.
- Heat 4 more qts water to boiling and add in tea; steep 4 min.
- Strain and add in to cooled syrup.
- Add in juices and strain through cheesecloth.
- Add in 2 gallons water and mix well.
- Chill.
- Before serving, add in ginger ale.
- Add in red food coloring for color if you want.
- A delicious punch for weddings.
- Serves 200.
