Amaretto Nut Cherry Sauce
- 2 jars (18 ounces each) cherry preserves
- 2 tbsp firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 cup slivered almonds, toasted
- 1/4 cup amaretto
- In a medium saucepan, combine preserves and brown sugar over medium heat.
- stirring occasionally, cook until sugar dissolves.
- Remove from heat; stir in almonds and amaretto.
- Store in an airtight container in refrigerator.
- Serve warm or cold with ice cream, pudding, or cake.
