Lentil-Walnut Loaf With Gravy
- 2 cups lentils, cooked
- 1 cup whole wheat breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 14 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped
- 12 teaspoon sage
- 12 teaspoon oregano
- 12 teaspoon thyme
- 2 teaspoons tamari soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
- 12 teaspoon kelp powder
- 2 cups water
- 14 cup whole wheat pastry flour
- 14 cup soy flour
- 2 tablespoons tamari soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
- 12 teaspoon kelp powder
- 14 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Loaf:.
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Combine all loaf ingredients into a stiff dough.
- If the mixture is too moist, add more bread crumbs.
- Pour into a well-oiled loaf pan and bake for 1 hour until firm.
