Michigan Chili Rellenos Recipe
- 1/2 c. plain yogurt
- 1 lg. egg
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 3 ounce. cheddar cheese, shredded
- 3 ounce. Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
- 1 can green chilies, liquid removed & rinsed
- 1/4 c. tomato sauce
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Spray a 1 qt casserole dish with Pam.
- Combine yogurt, egg and flour mix till smooth.
- Combine cheddar cheese and Monterey Jack.
- Sprinkle 1/3 cheese mix into casserole dish.
- Top with green chilies.
- Sprinkle another 1/3 of the cheese mix, then layer yogurt mix.
- On top of this spread the tomato sauce and the remaining cheese mix.
- Bake about 40 min.
- Serves 2.
