Bread And Chicken Casserole Recipe
- 6 slices bread
- 1 can peas
- 2 tbsp. lowfat milk
- 2 tbsp. bread crumbs
- 1 sm. can mushrooms
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1 stalk celery, minced
- 1/2 med. onion, minced
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 2 cooked chicken breasts
- 1/2 c. mozzarella cheese, shredded
- Toast and cube the bread, fry in skillet in butter with the onion and celery till tender.
- Add in mushrooms, peas, cooked diced chicken.
- Stir in a can of soup mixed with 2 Tbsp.
- lowfat milk.
- Toss till coated.
- Place in greased casserole and top with 1/2 c. of mozzarella cheese and 2 Tbsp.
- bread crumbs.
- Bake covered at 350 degrees for 20 min.
- Uncover and bake additional 15 min.
