Cantonese Style Alaska Cod Recipe

  1. Cut cod into serving-sized pcs; place in shallow baking dish.
  2. Dot with butter; sprinkle with lemon juice.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Bake at 450 degrees 8 to 10 min or possibly till cod flakes easily when tested with a fork.
  5. Keep hot while making sauce.
  6. Combine brown sugar, cornstarch, water, vinegar and soy sauce in saucepan.
  7. Cook and stir 1 minute or possibly till thickened.
  8. Add in celery and pineapple; cook 2 min longer.
  9. Serve over cod.
  10. This recipe yields 4 servings.
