Ham Stuffed Cabbage Leaves
- 6 large cabbage leaves
- 2 c. ground cooked ham, turkey or chicken
- 1 1/2 c. cooked rice
- 1/4 c. mayonnaise
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 Tbsp. chopped pickle
- 1/2 c. finely diced celery
- 1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
- 1/2 c. chicken broth
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 envelope sour cream sauce
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- Pour boiling water over cabbage leaves.
- Let stand for 5 minutes or until leaves are limp.
- Mix ham, rice, mayonnaise, egg, pickle, celery and onion.
- Place 1/2 cup mixture on each cabbage leaf.
- Fold leaves over filling, envelope fashion.
- Roll and secure with toothpick or string.
- Place in casserole.
- Dot with butter and cover with chicken broth.
- Cover tightly and bake at 350u0b0 for 40 minutes.
