Nasi Goreng - Indonesian Fried Rice

  1. Cook rice in broth or water until slightly underdone.
  2. Rinse and pat dry.
  3. Saute onion until soft, stirring.
  4. Add celery ginger, garlic, curry, sweet soy sauce and Tabasco; saute 2 minutes.
  5. Add cabbage and bell pepper and saute 3 minutes longer.
  6. Add shrimp and 1 cup (225 ml) of meat and saute 3 minutes longer.
  7. Add rice and saute until rice is a light brown.
