Bistro Burgers with Boss Sauce

  2. Preheat oven to 400 F. Heat a skillet over medium high heat.
  3. Form ground beef into 2 patties, about 3/4 inch thick.
  4. Season patties with salt and pepper.
  5. Place patties in pan and cook 3-3.5 minutes per side for medium rare.
  6. Cook 4-4.5 minutes per side for medium.
  7. Once flipped to the second side, add a slice of cheese.
  8. Once its finished cooking and the cheese is melted, remove patties to a plate.
  9. Let them rest for 5 minutes.

  11. Meanwhile, toast bread using your preferred method until it is golden brown on the edges and crunchy.
  12. Make sauce by mixing all ingredients together in a small bowl.

  14. Assemble burger: Take a generous amount of sauce and spread it over the bottom bun.
  15. Place patty on top.
  16. Add 2 slices of tomato and arugula.
  17. Add a bit more sauce on top bun.
  18. Place it on the burger.
  19. Serve with seasoned fries.
