Balm And Orange Dressing Recipe
- 2 Tbsp. Finely minced lemon balm
- 2 x Oranges, skinned and minced very finely
- 1 sm Canned red pepper, minced finely
- 4 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. White wine vinegar
- 4 Tbsp. Orange juice Salt and pepper
- 1.
- Combine the balm, oranges and red pepper and mix well.
- 2.
- Mix the oil into the vinegar, stirring thoroughly so as to thicken the mix, and season with salt and pepper.
- 3.
- Stir the orange juice in and add in the dressing to the balm mix.
- 4.
- Allow it to stand for a few hrs before serving.
- NOTES : This dressing is delicious with a chicory salad and also makes a very unusual potato salad.
- Try it on mixed salads of all kinds, or possibly as a dressing for French beans.
- This recipe makes 150ml
- (1/4 pint).
