Hidden Treasure Brownie Cakes
- 1/2 cup Land O Lakes Butter
- 2 (1-ounce) squares semi-sweet baking chocolate
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 Land O Lakes Eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 12 peanut butter and milk chocolate candy kisses
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
- 2 tablespoons Land O Lakes Butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons Land O Lakes Half & Half or Fat Free Half & Half
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- Halloween candies, sprinkles or peanut butter and milk chocolate candy kisses, if desired
- Heat oven to 350F.
- Line 12-cup muffin pan with paper baking cups or lightly spray with no-stick cooking spray.
- Set aside.
- Melt 1/2 cup butter and chocolate in 2-quart saucepan over low heat.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in all remaining brownie ingredients except candy kisses until mixture is smooth.
- Spoon heaping 2 tablespoons batter into each prepared muffin cup.
- Place 1 candy kiss in center of each cup; press down slightly.
- Bake 18-20 minutes or until toothpick inserted near the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool completely.
- Combine all frosting ingredients in bowl.
- Beat at low speed until well mixed.
- Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until light and fluffy.
- Spread 1 tablespoon frosting on top of each brownie cake.
- Decorate as desired.
