Brioche des rois (Epiphany Bread)

  1. Mix the flour, butter (half-melted), sugar, salt, egg, yeast and water and knead well.
  2. Let it rise for 1-2 hours.
  3. Place the dough on a board and knead lightly to let the extra gas out.
  4. Make two rings.
  5. Let them rise again for about 1 hour.
  6. Bake in the oven preheated at 190 C for about 20-25 minutes.
  7. Turn the side in the middle of baking.
  8. Baked!
  9. Decorate the brioches.
