Vietnamese All-Purpose Sauce
- 3 tbsp Nuoc mam (Vietnamese fish sauce)
- 3 tbsp Brown sugar
- 6 tbsp Water
- 1 tbsp Rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice (or lime)
- 1 tsp Soy sauce
- 4 clove Garlic
- 3 Red chili peppers (or chili paste)
- 1 Salt and pepper
- Preparation: Mash and finely chop the garlic.
- Slice the red chili peppers into small slices.
- Combine all the ingredients and mix well.
- Add vinegar, sugar, and soy sauce to taste.
