Best White Fruit Cake Recipe

  1. Cream butter and sugar till creamy.
  2. Add in the Large eggs that have been beaten well.
  3. Blend well.
  4. Sift flour and baking pwdr together.
  5. Take 1/4 c. of flour mix, toss fruit and nuts in it to coat well.
  6. Hold them out.
  7. Add in remaining flour to creamed mix, mix well.
  8. Mix in fruit and nuts.
  9. Grease pan, line with waxed paper.
  10. Put batter in pan and place in a cool oven.
  11. Turn oven to 250 degrees, bake for 3 hrs.
  12. Makes 1 (9 inch) spring pan or possibly 2 loaf pans.
  13. Best if kept 24 hrs before slicing.
