Coconut Cream Cheese Pound Cake
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 3 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 3 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. frozen coconut
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. coconut flavoring
- Cream butter, shortening and softened cream cheese.
- Gradually add sugar, beating on medium speed until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
- Combine flour, salt, baking powder and soda.
- Add to creamed mixture, stirring until just blended.
- Stir in coconut and flavorings.
- Spoon batter into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
- Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350u0b0 or until done.
- Remove from pan and cool completely.
