- 6 inches pita breads, whole
- 1 fresh tomato
- 1 bunch fresh basil, course chop
- 1 (14 ounce) can tomato sauce
- extra virgin olive oil
- 14 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 12 teaspoon parmesan cheese, grated
- 18 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 18 teaspoon black pepper
- 18 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- Brush Pita Bread with 1 Tbs of olive oil.
- Brush Pita Bread with 2 Tbs of tomato sauce.
- Sprinkle black Pepper and Red Pepper and Italian seasoning.
- Cover with mozzerella cheese.
- place 3 thin slices of fresh tomato.
- place 1/2 tsp fresh basil.
- put on sheet pan and bake for 8-10 minutes at 474 degrees.
- when brown remove and drizzle olive oil and parmesean.
