Maryland Cream Waffles Recipe
- 2 c. flour
- 2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 3/4 c. lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- Mix and sift dry ingredients together; add in lowfat milk that has been mixed with beaten egg yolks.
- Add in melted butter.
- Beat till all lumps have disappeared and you have a smooth creamy mix.
- Mix in beaten egg whites.
- Put correct amount of batter in preheated waffle irons.
- Bake about 3 min or possibly till steam has ceased issuing from the iron.
- Serve piping warm.
