Simple Non-Deep Fried Sweet and Sour Chicken
- 300 grams Chicken breast
- 1 dash Salt and pepper
- 1 tsp Soy sauce
- 1 to 2 tablespoons Katakuriko
- 1/2 Red bell pepper
- 1/2 Yellow bell pepper
- 1 Onion
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Sake
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 3 tbsp Vinegar
- 2 tbsp Ketchup
- 1 tsp Chicken soup stock granules
- 1 tsp Katakuriko
- 2 tbsp Oil
- Mix the sauce ingredients together and set aside.
- Cut the vegetables and breast meat into bite-sized chunks and soak the meat in the marinating ingredients.
- Once one side has cooked, turn the pieces over and add about 40 ml of water, then place the lid on the frying pan and steam the chicken.
- Coat the chicken in the katakuriko and fry it on one side until it turns a light brown colour (don't touch the chicken too much).

- Once both sides have browned, evaporate the excess water and add the stir fried vegetables and sauce.
- Once the sauce has coated the rest of the ingredients, the dish is done.
