Fabulous Chocolate Cake

  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. Add chocolate, then add combined liquid ingredients alternately with combined dry ingredients.
  4. Add nuts.
  5. Bake in greased and floured 13x9 inch pan for approximately 40 minutes at 350F (180C).
  6. For the frosting, melt butter and chocolate.
  7. Add a small amount to beaten egg, then add back into chocolate mixture.
  8. Add vanilla.
  9. Stir in powdered sugar and nuts.
