White Chip Island Cookies

  1. Heat oven to 375F.
  2. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in bowl.
  3. Combine butter, brown sugar, sugar and vanilla in another bowl.
  4. Beat at high speed, scraping bowl often, 1-2 minutes until creamy.
  5. Add egg; beat 1-2 minutes until well mixed.
  6. Beat on low speed, gradually adding flour mixture and beating well after each addition, 1-2 minutes until well mixed.
  7. Stir in chips, coconut and nuts.
  8. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  9. Bake 8-11 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
  10. Cool 2 minutes; remove to cooling rack.
  11. Cool completely.
