Tuna Mornay
- 410 g tuna, drained and flaked
- 1 12 cups cooked rice
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
- 1 teaspoon celery salt
- 1 12 teaspoons chicken seasoning
- 2 teaspoons chopped chives (dried)
- 12 teaspoon curry powder
- 12 cup celery (thinly sliced)
- 1 cup cheese (grated)
- 12 teaspoon paprika
- Preheat oven to 180
- Mix together tuna, rice and celery and place in a casserole dish.
- Mix together the garlic, celery salt, chicken seasoning, chives and curry power - set aside.
- Melt butter in a heavy saucepan.
- Add flour and cook briefly, stirring.
- Gradually add the milk while still stirring -- until mixture thickens.
- Add the spice mixture and stir through.
- Pour the sauce over the tuna mixture and stir it through.
- Sprinkle cheese then paprika on top.
- Bake until golden - about 30 minutes.
