Hamburger Strogenoff
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 small chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon pepper
- 1 (15 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (15 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 (12 ounce) can condensed milk
- 1 (15 ounce) package egg noodles
- Read entire directions first .
- In large pan bring 2 1/2 quarts water to a boil.
- Add noodles , stir, bring to boil, stir, cover, remove from heat and let stand for 20 minutes.
- No longer.
- ( drain noodles after the 20 minutes) While noodles are standing:.
- In large sauce pan brown ground beef, onions, salt and pepper.
- Drain excess oil.
- Add Cream of mushroom, milk and cream of chicken.
- Add water to cans (about 1 can) and add to mixture.
- Mix thoroughly .
- Cook stirring frequently until bubbly.
- Reduce heat, cover and simmer 10 minutes.
- If it is too thick for your liking just add water a little at a time.
- If too thin don't cover while simmering.
- Add mixture over noodles and stir until thoroughly mixed.
- Serve plain or add a dollop of sour cream.
