Whip 'N Chill Sundaes

  1. Place mousse mix and 1 quart of the ice water (or 1 cup of the ice water for trial recipe) in large bowl of electric mixer fitted with wire whip attachment.
  2. Beat on low speed 15 seconds.
  3. Scrape bowl.
  4. Beat on medium speed 5 to 8 minutes or until fluffy.
  5. Use pastry bag to pipe 1 cup of the mousse mixture into each of 16 dessert dishes (or 4 dessert dishes for trial recipe).
  6. Place whipped topping mix and remaining 3/4 cup ice water (or 3 Tbsp.
  7. ice water for trial recipe) in separate large bowl of electric mixer fitted with wire whip attachment.
  8. Beat on low speed 15 seconds.
  9. Scrape bowl.
  10. Beat on medium speed 5 to 8 minutes or unitl fluffy.
  11. Drizzle 2 Tbsp.
  12. of the chocolate sauce over each dessert; top with 1/4 cup of the whipped topping mixture.
  13. (Or, pipe whipped topping mixture over desserts using a pastry bag.)
  14. Garnish with sprinkles and cherries.
