Hershey'S Chocolate-Banana Snacking Cake
- 1 2/3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 c. Hershey's cocoa
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. mashed ripe banana (1 large)
- 1/3 c. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. white vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- whipped topping (optional)
- Heat oven to 350u0b0.
- In large bowl, stir together flour, brown sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
- Add water, banana, oil, vinegar and vanilla.
- Stir until smooth.
- Pour batter in ungreased 8-inch square baking pan.
- Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Serve warm or cool with whipped topping, if desired.
- Makes 9 servings.
