Lazy Stroganoff: For Bentos Too
- 100 grams Thinly sliced and coarsely chopped pork (or beef)
- 1/2 Onion (if you have it)
- 1 tbsp each Sake, ketchup, Japanese Worcestershire-style sauce
- 1 to 2 packs Coffee creamer (or milk)
- Slice the onion (if you're using it) thinly.
- Pull apart the meat with your hands and sprinkle with salt, pepper and 1/2 teaspoon of flour.
- Mix with your hands.
- Heat some oil in a frying pan and stir fry the onions for about 2 minutes.
- You can add some mushrooms or carrots and so on at this stage.
- Push the onion to one side of the pan, and put in the meat on the empty part of the pan.
- Stir fry until the meat is cooked, and then mix the onion back in.
- Swirl in the sake and mix well, then add the ketchup and sauce.
- You can use Japanese Worcestershire sauce or okonomiyaki sauce or whatever you like.
- The last step here is the key!
- Add the coffee creamer.
- The flavor immediately becomes mild and creamy.
- Here, it's done.
- This is a variation with shimeji mushrooms.
- The volume inscreases a lot; try it for dinner tonight.
