Lazy Stroganoff: For Bentos Too

  1. Slice the onion (if you're using it) thinly.
  2. Pull apart the meat with your hands and sprinkle with salt, pepper and 1/2 teaspoon of flour.
  3. Mix with your hands.
  4. Heat some oil in a frying pan and stir fry the onions for about 2 minutes.
  5. You can add some mushrooms or carrots and so on at this stage.
  6. Push the onion to one side of the pan, and put in the meat on the empty part of the pan.
  7. Stir fry until the meat is cooked, and then mix the onion back in.
  8. Swirl in the sake and mix well, then add the ketchup and sauce.
  9. You can use Japanese Worcestershire sauce or okonomiyaki sauce or whatever you like.
  10. The last step here is the key!
  11. Add the coffee creamer.
  12. The flavor immediately becomes mild and creamy.
  13. Here, it's done.
  14. This is a variation with shimeji mushrooms.
  15. The volume inscreases a lot; try it for dinner tonight.
