How to Prepare Amberjack

  1. It is amberjack season right now!
  2. The fillet is of course delicious, but the bony parts are good as well!
  3. Rinse the amberjack and pat dry with paper towels.
  4. Sprinkle the salt all over the fish and leave it for about 10 minutes.
  5. Rinse it with water again.
  6. Pat dry the excess water with paper towels.
  7. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the amberjack into it.
  8. I don't like the smell of the fish, so I cook it through.
  9. Rinse again.
  10. Pat dry again and the preparation is done.
  11. Refer to how to prep daikon radish in.
  12. Combine the two for a simmered amberjack and daikon radish
