How to Prepare Amberjack
- 400 g Amberjack (buri)
- 1 tsp Salt
- It is amberjack season right now!
- The fillet is of course delicious, but the bony parts are good as well!
- Rinse the amberjack and pat dry with paper towels.
- Sprinkle the salt all over the fish and leave it for about 10 minutes.
- Rinse it with water again.
- Pat dry the excess water with paper towels.
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the amberjack into it.
- I don't like the smell of the fish, so I cook it through.
- Rinse again.
- Pat dry again and the preparation is done.
- Refer to how to prep daikon radish in.
- Combine the two for a simmered amberjack and daikon radish
