Mexican Beef Pie

  1. Line 9-inch pie plate with half of the pastry.
  2. Heat oil in skillet; saute onion and green pepper 5 minutes.
  3. Add beef; cook until browned, stirring frequently.
  4. Add seasonings and tomato sauce; cook over low heat 15 minutes.
  5. Let cool.
  6. Add olives. Turn mixture into pastry shell.
  7. Roll out remaining pastry; cut into thin strips.
  8. Arrange over meat in lattice pattern.
  9. Bake in preheated 400u0b0 oven 35 to 40 minutes or until pastry is well browned.
  10. Yields 5 or 6 servings.
