Sour Cream Christmas Morning Cake Recipe
- 1 c. butter
- 3 Large eggs, separated
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. dairy lowfat sour cream
- 1 3/4 c. sifted flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- Cream shortening and sugar.
- Add in egg yolk and lowfat sour cream.
- Beat till light and fluffy.
- Add in flour, baking pwdr and baking soda.
- Beat egg whites till stiff; mix in.
- Pour batter into a greased and floured Bundt pan.
- Sprinkle with a topping made of 1/4 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp.
- cinnamon and 1/2 c. minced nuts.
- Dot with extra butter.
- Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
- Cold in pan for 15 min.
