Sour Cream Christmas Morning Cake Recipe

  1. Cream shortening and sugar.
  2. Add in egg yolk and lowfat sour cream.
  3. Beat till light and fluffy.
  4. Add in flour, baking pwdr and baking soda.
  5. Beat egg whites till stiff; mix in.
  6. Pour batter into a greased and floured Bundt pan.
  7. Sprinkle with a topping made of 1/4 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp.
  8. cinnamon and 1/2 c. minced nuts.
  9. Dot with extra butter.
  10. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
  11. Cold in pan for 15 min.
