Cajun Barbecue Shrimp
- 1 c. butter
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. red pepper
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. white pepper
- 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 1/2 tsp. dried whole thyme
- 1/2 tsp. dried whole rosemary, crushed
- 1/8 tsp. dried whole oregano
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 lb. unpeeled shrimp
- 1/2 c. chicken broth
- 1/4 c. beer
- 2 c. hot cooked rice
- Melt 1/2 cup butter in skillet. Add onion and next 9 ingredients. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add shrimp. Cook 2 minutes. Add remaining 1/2 cup butter and chicken broth. Cook 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in beer and cook 1 minute. Remove from heat. Remove shrimp from skillet. Mound rice in skillet and arrange shrimp around rice.
