Authentic German Potatoes!
- 4 medium Potatoes
- 80 grams Wiener sausages
- 3 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 tbsp Grain mustard
- 1 dash Salt
- 1 dash Coarse ground black pepper
- 1 dash Olive oil
- Peel the potatoes.
- Slice thinly and briefly soak in water.
- Leave in the strainer to drain.
- Cut the sausages diagonally into moderately thin slices.
- In a dry frying pan, saute the sausages over low heat.
- When the sausages have browned thoroughly, remove from the pan and set them aside on a plate.
- In the same frying pan, add olive oil, potato slices, salt, and pepper.
- Saute until the potatoes turn a transparent white colour.
- Turn up the heat to medium and add the sausages from step 3.
- Continue to saute.
- When the potatoes and sausage are well mixed, turn off the heat.
- Add the mayonnaise and grain mustard, mix well, and you are done.
