Chicken Cacciatore
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 2-1/2 lb. chicken pieces
- 1 envelope GOOD SEASONS Italian Dressing Mix
- 1 can (28 oz.) tomato sauce
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 medium green pepper, cut into strips
- Hot cooked pasta (optional)
- Heat oil in large skillet.
- Add chicken; cook until browned on all sides.
- Sprinkle salad dressing mix over chicken.
- Add tomato sauce, mushrooms and green pepper.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low; cover.
- Simmer 25 to 30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through, stirring occasionally.
- Serve with hot cooked pasta.
