Meat-Free Silken Tofu Hamburger

  1. Drain the water from the silken tofu.
  2. Finely chop the onions and saute until browned.
  3. Transfer to a plate to cool.
  4. Combine the silken tofu, egg, panko, salt, and pepper in a bowl and thoroughly mix.
  5. Add the onion from Step 1 and mix again until even.
  6. The mixture is now done.
  7. Form the mixture into patties of your desired sizes.
  8. Oil a frying pan and place the patties into the pan.
  9. Cover with a lid and fry both sides.
  10. Once they're cooked, pour your favorite sauce on top and you're done!
  11. It's also fine to pour the sauce over the hamburgers while they're still in the frying pan.
