Flat Iron Steak Sandwiches with Arugula-Basil Pesto

  1. Arugula-Basil Pesto: Process first 4 ingredients in food processor until well blended.
  2. Add cheese and red pepper; pulse until blended.
  3. For each serving: Spread 1 Tbsp.
  4. (15 mL) Arugula-Basil Pesto onto each of 2 bread slices.
  5. Top 1 bread slice with 1 Tbsp.
  6. (15 mL) onions, 2 pepper strips, 1-1/4 oz.
  7. (35 g) meat and 2 oz.
  8. (60 g) cheese.
  9. Broil just until cheese begins to melt; cover with second bread slice.
