Fresh Tomato Salsa

  1. Cut tomatoes in half crosswise and seed if desired.
  2. Finely chop tomatoes and transfer with any juices to a bowl.
  3. Wearing rubber gloves, finely chop chilies, including seeds.
  4. Stir chilies into tomatoes with remaining ingredients.
  5. Salsa may be made 6 hours ahead and chilled, covered.
