Nikujaga Croquettes with Frozen Beef Soboro

  1. Cook the potatoes and eggs in plenty of boiling water over medium heat.
  2. Remove the eggs after 13 minutes and continue to cook the potatoes for about 30 minutes altogether.
  3. Check to see if the potatoes are done by inserting a skewer.
  4. Make "Simple Ground Beef Simmer"or defrost it.
  5. Fry the sliced onion until golden brown.
  6. Drain the potatoes in a colander and peel them.
  7. It is easy to use tongs to grab the potato securely and peel.
  8. Mash the potatoes roughly.
  9. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  10. Add the chopped boiled eggs, fried onion and minced beef.
  11. Mix gently.
  12. Coat the portioned potato mixture with flour, eggs and panko in that order.
  13. Deep-fry each side for 2 minutes in the oil over a medium heat!
  14. For the sauce, mix all the ingredients.
