Lorri's Buffalo Chicken Pizza
- 12 inches pizza dough
- 2 cups cooked chopped chicken
- 13 cup texas pete buffalo chicken wing sauce
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 small onions, chopped and carmelized
- 1 -2 garlic clove, chopped
- 12 cup sliced thin green pepper
- 14 cup crumbled blue cheese
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Chop two onions and cook them in a skillet until they are brown and carmelized.
- At the last minute or so of cooking the onions, throw in the chopped garlic.
- Set aside.
- In a small bowl, stir together chopped chicken, buffalo wing sauce and melted butter.
- Spread sauce with chicken on pizza dough to within 1/2" of edge, put carmelized onion and garlic mixture on next, then green pepper and crumbled blue cheese.
- In 425 degree oven, If using a prebaked pizza crust bake 10 minutes or until toppings are bubbly.
- If using a homeade pizza dough this will probably take about 20 minutes or until crust is done.
