Ma Mac's Molasses Cookies Recipe

• 1 c. white sugar
• 1 c. molasses
• 1 c. melted shortening
• 2/3 c. warm coffee
• 2 teaspoon baking soda
• 2 teaspoon ginger
• 1/4 teaspoon cloves
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 4 1/2 c. flour

1. Mix together and put in refrigerator to chill.
2. Roll out on floured surface and cut with cookie cutters 1/8 inch thick.
3. Put on greased cookie sheet.
4. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 min.
5. Cut them a little thicker if you want them to stay soft.
