Sugar-Free Flavored Tea
- 4 regular tea bags or 2 lipton family-size tea bags
- 1 quart cold water
- 1 cup artificial sweetener (I prefer Splenda,or more if you want it sweeter)
- 12 teaspoon of desired flavor extract, such as vanilla, peppermint, lemon, raspberry, etc. (more if you want a stronger flavor, but be careful not to use too much)
- ice, enough to cool a large pitcher tea (optional)
- Put water in large pot and bring to a boil.
- Put tea bags in boiling water and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Remove pot from heat and stir in the Splenda and extract.
- Pour tea in pitcher or other container and serve immediately over ice or refrigerate.
- Note: If you're using an electric tea maker follow manufacturer's instructions and skip to step 3.
