Fantastic Green Onion & Char Siu Ramen Noodles with Dipping Sauce

  1. Put the ingredients in a small sauce pan and bring to the boil.
  2. Cool down and chill (this is fantstic dipping sauce).
  3. I forgot to put up the photo...
  4. Slice the Japanese leek into 5-cm-length batons.
  5. Soften the leek by massaging with your hands.
  6. (This is important!)
  7. Cut the char siu into the same size as the leek.
  8. (This is my home-made one.)
  9. Mix with the sesame oil and doubanjiang spicy bean paste.
  10. Cook the noodles following the cooking instruction.
  11. Rinse the cooked noodles in ice water.
  12. Drain well.
  13. Chill really well.
  14. Transfer to serving dishes.
  15. Add some chopped green onions into your dipping sauce to your liking.
  16. Add some sesame seeds if you like.
