Low Calorie Chili(280 Calories Per Serving)

  1. In large pot over medium heat in hot oil, cook celery, onions, green pepper and garlic until onions are tender, about 5 minutes. Add meat and cook until meat is browned, stirring occasionally. Stir in kidney beans, tomatoes and their liquid, salt and 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder; heat to boiling.
  2. Reduce heat to low and simmer 40 to 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Just before serving, stir in enough chili powder to give desired "hotness". Makes 6 servings.
