Flambeed Tangerines

  1. In a saute pan melt 1 tablespoon butter, add sugar and tangerines.
  2. Stir continuously 2 minutes; as it cooks sugar will begin to turn golden and thicken.
  3. Carefully add Grand Marnier.
  4. Note: IT WILL IGNITE.
  5. Shake pan until flame goes out, then reduce 1 minute more.
  6. Stir in remaining butter and spices.
  7. Scoop ice cream into dessert bowls and spoon tangerines on top.
  8. Garnish with chopped zest.
