Lime & Cream Cheese Flan with Guava Sauce

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Blend first 3 ingredients in blender until smooth.
  3. Add eggs, vanilla and lime zest; blend until combined.
  4. Pour into 9-inch round pan.
  5. Place filled pan in larger shallow pan.
  6. Add enough water to larger pan to come halfway up side of smaller pan.
  7. Bake 50 min.
  8. to 1 hour or until knife inserted in center of flan comes out clean.
  9. Cool in water-filled pan.
  10. Carefully transfer flan from pan of hot water to wire rack.
  11. Cool flan completely.
  12. Refrigerate flan 4 hours.
  13. Meanwhile, bring guava pulp and sugar just to boil in saucepan; cook on medium-low heat 15 min.
  14. or until thickened, stirring frequently.
  15. Cool completely, then refrigerate until ready to use.
  16. Serve flan topped with guava sauce.
