Honey Seared Salmon With Sour Cream Dill Sauce
- 4 medium salmon fillets, skin removed
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 12 cup low-fat sour cream
- 34 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh chives
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh dill
- 1 teaspoon nob hill trading co. Dijon mustard
- salt and pepper
- fresh dill sprig (to garnish) (optional)
- Rinse salmon fillets and pat dry.
- Brush both sides with honey and place in a large skillet sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.
- Cook over medium heat for about 4 minutes per side or until golden brown on the outside and fish reaches an internal temperature of 150F and flakes easily when tested with a fork.
- Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients except garnish in a small bowl; stir well to blend.
- Remove fish from skillet to individual serving plates and place a dollop of herbed sour cream on each.
- Garnish with fresh dill sprigs, if desired.
