Delicious and Nutritious Corn and Mixed Grain Rice

  1. Cut the raw corn on the cob in half lengthwise.
  2. Use a knife to scrape off the corn kernels.
  3. You will use the corn cob later, so set it aside.
  4. Wash the rice and put it in the rice cooker pot.
  5. Add the sake and add water until a little more than the 2 cup line.
  6. Add the salt and the corn kernels and lightly mix.
  7. Finally, place the corn cob on top of the rice.
  8. Cook the rice in the rice cooker as normal.
  9. This is how it looks when it's done cooking Carpeted with corn.
  10. Sprinkle sesame salt on top and enjoy.
  11. Here I added black rice.
  12. It adds a little color and dresses it up a bit.
